AP helps Haiyan build "China Hydrogen Valley"

This afternoon, the 22nd Zhejiang Investment and Trade Fair opened in Ningbo. Jiaxing Municipal Party Secretary Zhang Bing, Mayor Mao Hongfang and other leaders, as well as Air Products China President Su Junxiong and Vice President Yu Feng attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Haiyan Hydrogen Energy Base Project at the Haiyan branch venue.

       It is reported that the positioning of the project is to build Haiyan into "China's Hydrogen Valley". After implementation, it will fill the gaps in Zhejiang Province in the industrial chain links of hydrogen production, storage and transportation, hydrogen refueling station equipment production, etc., and effectively promote the transition from hydrogen production to storage. The complete industrial chain layout of transportation, hydrogen refueling station, hydrogen fuel cell system and hydrogen energy vehicles is of great significance for the development of the hydrogen energy industry in Zhejiang Province. At the same time, for Haiyan County, the implementation of this project will inject new blood and strong support into the high-quality development of the region.

       According to reports, the total investment of the project is about 1 billion US dollars, which is divided into three projects, including hydrogen energy preparation and subassembly, manufacturing of key equipment parts for the hydrogen energy industry, and hydrogen energy utilization demonstration city construction, which will be implemented in phases. The first phase is a hydrogen energy preparation and sub-packaging project, which will build comprehensive supporting facilities for industrial gases such as hydrogen purification, liquid hydrogen plant, and liquid nitrogen plant; Base; Phase III is a hydrogen energy utilization demonstration city construction project. It will build hydrogen refueling stations and hydrogen refueling bus lines in Haiyan County and Jiaxing area, promote hydrogen energy use demonstrations, and build modern hydrogen energy low-carbon communities and hydrogen energy research institutes.
